The system can retrieve:
either all Category datasets by using the Get all Categories query or
selected Category dataset by using the Find Category by subject queries.
To retrieve all Category datasets:
Go Home to the Task panel if you are not already there.
Under Category , click Update. Click the Query button, a query window opens.
Select Category from the
Select query result type
drop-down list.
Select Get all categories from
the Select query
drop-down list.
Click the Search button. All Categories will be displayed in the Query result pane (under the title bar Navigation), in alphabetical order.
A Category dataset can be queried via several pre-defined queries:
by Name (see chapter D.15.8.2 Find Category by name).
by Owner Legal entity (see chapter D.15.8.1 Find Category by Legal entity owner).
To retrieve Category datasets based on their Legal entity owner:
Go Home to the Task panel if you are not already there.
Under Category , Click Update . Click the Query button, a query window opens.
Select Category from the
Select query result type
drop-down list.
Select Find categories by legal entity
owner from the Select query
drop-down
list.
Enter at least one search criteria into one of the fields listed in the Query specific fields area (see the screenshot below).
To retrieve Category dataset(s) based on their name:
Go Home to the Task panel if you are not already there.
Under Category , click Update. Click the Query button; a query window opens.
Select Category from the
Select query result type
drop-down list.
Select Find categories by name
from the Select query
drop-down list.
Enter at least one search criteria into one of the fields listed in the Query specific fields area (see the screenshot below).
